New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has come up with a first-of-its-kind initiative to hand over his social media accounts to women achievers when the world celebrates International Women’s Day (March 8). It enables them to tell the whole country what they experienced, what they struggled (with), and what (other) success stories they have been through.
A Platform for Women’s Voices
While addressing the 119th episode of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said, “The platform may be mine but their experiences, challenges, and achievements will be discussed there.” The movement intends to give women the unwavering strength to shine and be a portal that inspires millions of people’s lives around the world.
How to Participate?
Those women who have the interest to be a part of this exceptional opportunity can apply through the NAMO App. It would help their voices be known to more people out there thus encouraging more women to come out and share their stories.
India on the Path of AI & Innovation
PM Modi further mentioned how India has shown rapid growth in Artificial Intelligence (AI), also bringing his recent visit to Paris to a large AI conference at the forefront during which India’s achievements in AI were celebrated.
He also mentioned the case of a school teacher, Thodasam Kailash in Telangana, who is using AI tools to preserve tribal languages by creating songs in lesser-known dialects.
PM Modi is setting an example of women empowerment by giving Women the Voice to the Nation this Women’s Day!
